I am currently a postdoctoral research geologist at the Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History. Although I live in Baltimore, MD and work in Washington, DC, working on the OSIRIS-REx mission takes me all over the country. Recent trips include Tucson, AZ and Boulder, CO.
In my research I'm interested in the ways we can use remote sensing of planetary surfaces to determine their history and evolution, with a particular focus on volcanism and glaciation. These research interests have taken me to some pretty incredible places like Iceland, Sicily, and Scotland.
When I'm not traveling and researching, I'm spending time with my husband Sasha and our cat Biko.
